INTERBETON hosted the Concrete Solutions Forum in Patras, gathering the construction community of Western Greece for a focused event dedicated to sharing knowledge on modern and sustainable construction.
The event brought together engineers, construction companies and industry experts, providing a platform to discuss current challenges in infrastructure and building projects. Key topics included construction durability, reducing environmental impact, and enhancing material performance over time.
During the forum, Professor Kosmas Sideris from Democritus University of Thrace emphasized the significance of concrete durability in constructing sustainable structures. Meanwhile, Professor Evangelos Papadakis from the University of Patras discussed the importance of structural repairs and the costs incurred when the service life of projects is overlooked during initial planning.

At the same time, modern INTERBETON Concrete Solutions were also showcased, emphasizing support for high-performance projects. These include low-carbon concrete, solutions for mass concrete applications, and specialized concretes designed for industrial flooring and watertight structures.

By organizing the Concrete Solutions Forum, INTERBETON enhances engagement with the technical community and actively promotes the sharing of solutions that result in more durable and sustainable buildings.
