Its operation contributes to the achievement of the objectives of the circular economy, the National Waste Management Plan, and the applicable National and European legislation. The facility, which consists of enclosed industrial buildings housing all operational functions of the plant, was supplied with ready-mix concrete from INTERBETON production units in Ilia.
Due to the nature of the structures, which are directly related to waste processing, the project required the production of concrete with high exposure and durability specifications, using SR (Sulfate Resistant) cement. This innovative cement was produced at the TITAN plant in Drepano Achaia.
